- Status: proposal, not a record of cards removed from available inventory.

This is a collection-limited Spider deck built around web-slinging and repeated
enter-the-battlefield abilities. It is intended for casual games rather than
tournament Standard. It shares no nonbasic cards with
[Rakdos Mayhem](../spm-rakdos-mayhem/README.md), so both proposals can be
assembled at the same time.

## Game plan

1. Develop Aunt May, Gallant Citizen, City Pigeon, Radioactive Spider or
Spider-Girl during the first two turns.
2. Attack with a creature that can safely be returned, then use it to pay a
web-slinging cost. Gallant Citizen draws again when replayed; City Pigeon
leaves a Food; Spider-Girl leaves a Citizen token.
3. Build a wider and larger board with Aunt May, Silk, Spider-UK and Spider-Man
India. Use Origin of Spider-Man or Thwip! to win a key combat.
4. Clear blockers with Kapow! or Spectacular Tactics, preserving creatures when
the protection mode is more valuable than removal.

## Opening hands

Keep two or three lands with both colors, at least one play costing one or two
mana, and either a web-slinger or interaction. Gallant Citizen is the best card
to pair with a web-slinger because returning and replaying it replaces itself.
Avoid hands whose first creature costs three mana or whose lands provide only
one color.

## Important interactions

- Returning a tapped creature is part of paying a web-slinging cost. Opponents
cannot remove that creature after it has been returned to make the spell cost
  more.
- A creature may attack, become tapped and then be returned for web-slinging
after combat. It does not need to deal combat damage first.
- Spider-UK checks how many creatures entered during the entire turn. Casting a
web-slinger and replaying the returned creature is enough to satisfy it.
- Aunt May puts a counter on each other Spider that enters. Mary Jane Watson
draws only once each turn, even if several Spiders enter together.
- Spider-Man India triggers when a creature spell is cast, before that spell
resolves. The target already on the battlefield receives the counter and
  flying.
- Origin of Spider-Man makes its chosen creature a legendary Spider Hero for
the rest of the game, not only until the Saga leaves the battlefield.

## List conventions

The CSV uses the same 24 columns, in the same order, as the collection's precon
exports. Nonbasic metadata comes from
[the Spider-Man opening](<../../../booster-pulls/Marvel's%20Spider-Man%20(SPM)/cards.csv>).
Selected copies never exceed recorded quantities or the four-copy limit.
Regular copies are preferred when available; Silk, Web Weaver uses one regular
and one recorded foil. Prices come from the export, not a fresh market quote,
and `Value_USD` is recalculated for the selected copies.

Enough basic lands are assumed available. Their quantities use
`Quantity_Regular` as a planning convention, not a verified finish. Printing,
condition, price and image fields remain blank. There is no sideboard.
